Musical Influences: Judy Garland has always been a guiding light for me – that ability to combine vocal power with emotional honesty and presence. I’m also deeply inspired by the great vocalists of the 1930s and 1940s, performers who understood how to command a room without ever losing warmth, elegance, or clarity of storytelling.
Studying / Profession: I have a background in music, theatre, and media, with professional experience spanning performance, public speaking, teaching, and creative direction. Alongside performing, I work as a historian and content creator specialising in Edwardian and early 20th-century culture, using storytelling to make history accessible, engaging, and human.
Hobbies: When I’m not performing, you’ll usually find me at the piano, restoring or researching vintage garments, writing, or disappearing into historical archives. I also love teaching, creating content for TikTok, wandering museums, and watching sci-fi shows on TV with a cup of coffee in my hand.
A Little Something About You: I love performing and giving people a proper show. Music, for me, is about creating an experience – not just singing songs, but stepping into a world. I’m also passionate about historical fashion, and one of my favourite things is wearing original garments from the 1930s and 1940s at gigs, bringing the era to life both musically and visually.
Best Part of Being in the Band: Sharing this music with audiences who may be hearing it for the first time – and with those who know it inside and out – is a genuine joy. What I value most is being surrounded by musicians who care deeply about craft, history, and continual growth. It’s an environment that constantly challenges me to grow and try new things as a performer.
